Is there a deadline to submit a Mitigating Circumstances request?

If you wish to submit a Mitigating Circumstances form it is best to do so in plenty of time before the assessment deadline.

Claims for Mitigating Circumstances must be submitted no later than 5.00pm on the given
assessment deadline, or, in the case of a presentation, performance, viva or examination,
before the start of that assessment event.

Late Mitigating Circumstances claims will only be accepted in exceptional circumstances up
to 5 working days after the given assessment deadline, and must clearly state why the student was unable, or for justifiable reasons unwilling, to submit a claim before the given assessment deadline.
