What is an Appeal?

An academic appeal is a request to overturn or change a decision of a Board of Examiners in respect of your assessment outcome.

The University understands that sometimes it gets things wrong and that sometimes, for a variety of reasons, the decisions it makes in respect of student assessment are not fair. The academic appeals process provides an opportunity to put these things right.
